Coloring: Chihuahuas have no specific color pattern. Any color is acceptable, solid, marked or splashed. The eyes should be round and dark and are set well apart.

Chihuahuas Puppy - Other Names of Chihuahuas

Breeders sometimes refer to these dogs as pocket dogs, Teacup, Tiny Toy, Pocket Size, Miniature or Standard Chihuahuas. There are no discriminations made within the breed according to the American Kennel Club.

Exercise: The Chihuahua is an active dog indoors therefore it requires a lot of training and playing. These dogs are very good for walking, jogging, etc.
Health: As these dogs have a short nose, Chihuahuas tend to wheeze and snore. They are also prone to eye problems. Make sure you do not let this dog eat chocolate.
Care and Grooming: There are several types of the breed. There are short-coated and long-coated types of Chihuahuas. The short-coated type dogs are easy to groom requiring regular brushing of the short coat when necessary. However, you should brush every day the long coated types to keep the coat clean and free of little tangles. Bathe Chihuahuas when necessary. Do not bathe your pets too often
